We are a dedicated and friendly team of cat-crazy ladies, committed to providing feline-friendly healthcare within our brand new clinic and also providing a home-visits. We offer a wide range of services for cats of all ages, including preventive healthcare, vaccinations, surgery, dental procedures, and management of chronic diseases. We understand cat behaviour and how to work around the stress veterinary visits cause and the impact on families. Our clients trust us to enter their homes and provide the best solutions with minimal intervention.
Role Description
This is a part-time role for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Duties will include anaesthesia for dentals and surgeries, nurse clinics on-site and at client\'s homes - examples are blood pressure checks, blood sampling (with VCA to help), senior wellness consults, weight management consults, monthly Solensia injections +/- other regular injections, providing oversight for the VCA\'s, triaging cases remotely, client communications and a degree of administrative and cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) certification
- Experience of working with feline-friendly principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Extra qualifications in feline nursing a benefit but not essential
- An interest in anaesthesiology and geriatric feline care a benefit but not essential
