We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Peterlee, County Durham who are in need of a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their brilliant team.
The practice provides the highest standards of care to patients at all times, while delivering ongoing support to clients. They are looking for someone with a good amount of experience with experience and are able to support candidates with certificates in anaesthesia, surgery and medicine. Your duties will include clinical coaching, assisting the vets in surgery, administering medicine and nurse clinics.
This role is full time for 4 days per week with shifts between 8am and 7pm, along with weekends on a rota. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About the role:
The role involves all aspects of general nursing from assisting the veterinary surgeon in theatre, administering medications, ward work, nurse clinics to greeting clients and booking them in.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly nurse who has a genuine passion for animal welfare. Excellent customer service skills are key and the ability to work well as part of a team.

The well-established modern practice comes with state-of-the-art facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, separate dog and cat kennels, isolation units, an in-house laboratory and much more! The practice also has two new premises, so this is an exciting time to be joining the team.

Package:
