Join our team at Mount Road Vets, Gorton, as a Veterinary Surgeon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established and respected veterinary practice in Manchester with a high caseload.

This sole charge position allows you to develop the practice and lead an experienced nursing and support team, with support from the Practice Manager and Area Director.

We are dedicated to helping our team members reach their full potential, providing clearly defined opportunities for career advancement and exclusive Elevate bonus opportunities.

The Elevate programme offers:

  • Up to £5,000 welcome bonus paid in first salary
  • Up to £8,000 relocation bonus
  • Elevate bonus paid at month 6 - 20% of annual salary

  • Paid leave for the duration of your move (up to three days)

We offer flexible working hours, with the option for full-time or part-time roles. Full-time is 40 hours a week with no out-of-hours work and 1:4 weekends consisting of a Saturday only. Hours are between 10am and 6pm.

Our practice is well-respected in the community, with good facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab. We have loyal clients and strive to deliver affordable services.

Location: Close to Manchester city centre, offering shopping, theatres, concert venues, and outdoor activities such as parks and canal walks.
