We are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Oaks Vet Centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in customer service and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment and proficiency in computer skills.
Duties Will Include:
- Answering phone calls
- Triage emergency phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Updating patient records
- Dispensing medications
- Processing payments/banking
- Dealing with outstanding accounts
- Maintain cleanliness of reception, consult rooms and communal areas
About The Team:
Our greatest asset is our team. Our experienced team of veterinary surgeons is supported by a dedicated team of nurses and support staff. We all pride ourselves on providing the highest level of patient care and customer service. We have a reception team of 11 working over 3 practices in Ayrshire, Saltcoats, Largs and Dundonald.
Your shift pattern:
We are looking for someone to work 20 hours over 5 days. It will include 2 Saturday mornings in 4 in our Largs practice.
