Join our dedicated team at Scarsdale Vets, working across our Pride Veterinary Centre in Derby and our Park Farm Practice in Allestree. This role allows you to develop consulting skills while maintaining hands-on clinical work in practice. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to build lasting relationships with clients and continually improve the services we offer. Consulting at Pride Veterinary Centre will give you the chance to develop confidence and explore specialist clinics such as osteoarthritis and renal disease management. At Park Farm, you’ll enjoy a varied mix of nurse clinics, surgical support, and general nursing duties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client contact, has a passion for preventative healthcare, and takes pride in delivering excellent standards of patient care.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time: 38 hours per week over 4 days
  • Hours between 8am and 7pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays
  • Part-time applicants are also welcome to apply

What We’re Looking For

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Confident with anaesthesia and nurse clinics
  • Excellent organisational skills and communication
  • Strong interest in client interaction and preventative healthcare

Desirable Skills

  • Experience running or developing specialist clinics
  • Knowledge of nutrition and weight management
  • Stock control or ordering experience
  • Full UK driving licence
