An opportunity has arisen for a Recent Graduate Vet to join us at Seymour Vets in Devon. We are looking for an individual with some post-graduate experience (ideally 1 year). We are a social and supportive team that strive to put excellence into customer service while keeping our team motivated and de-stressed. We are based in Devon, 20 minutes from the beach and moors with easy access to Exeter and Plymouth.

You will enjoy working at our modern and spacious Hospital in Totnes while also supporting our branch site at Preston. We are looking for a Vet to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. There are no OOHs but you will work Saturdays on a rota basis.

In our team, we have certificate holders in medicine and lots of skill and experience to draw from. We have achieved outstanding in RCVS awards for diagnostic imaging and client service. We have a separate dental suite, 2 theatres, and 4 consulting rooms with large windows for natural light. Our staff room is located on the 1st floor with a kitchen and TV to help you relax on breaks. We also have a separate staff dog room so you can bring your well-behaved pooch to work with you!

On site, we have a CT scanner, digital and dental x-ray, Video Endo and broncho scopes, ultrasound, and BP Oscillometric and Doppler. As well as enjoying our modern facilities, well-equipped practice, and a busy varied caseload, you will have access to a range of benefits and our tailor-made New Graduate programme offering you the right support network in practice by ensuring you have an experienced clinical mentor working alongside you.

In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience, and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.

  • Salary of £38,000.00 if being enrolled onto the 2nd year of our Graduate programme
  • No financial tie-in beyond completion of the programme.
