Head Vet Nurse - Small Animal

About the Role
- Lead, inspire, and develop the nursing team.
- Work closely with the Lead Vet, Client Care Manager, Practice Manager and Practice Director to shape operations and guide growth.
- Maintain smooth practice running, uphold clinical standards and governance.
- Provide hands‑on clinical care and mentorship of Student Veterinary Nurses and VCAs.
- Ensure high standards of infection control, clinical governance and team confidence.
- Work 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days with a 1:3 Saturday rota and time given back in lieu.
About You
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience managing or supervising a team.
- Organised, proactive, confident in all aspects of clinical nursing (anaesthesia, inpatient care, consults, client communication).
- Passionate about collaboration and encouraging growth.
