We are seeking an enthusiastic full/part time approved TB tester (ATT) to join our farm team. Applicants must hold the relevant qualifications required for this job (OCQ(V) ES and OCQ(V) TT), alternatively we are willing to train the right candidate to become an ATT.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a proactive farm team in a beautiful part of the country. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality support and services to our clients. Kingston Vets Farm is based in Sherborne and has a varied farm client base covering Dorset and parts of Somerset.
The successful candidate will assist with covering our routine TB work and support our team of 4 farm vets, 2 farm administrators/technicians and a nursing team. Some computer skills are necessary, we are willing to train where required. Experience with cattle handling and working in the agricultural sector is preferred. A full clean driving licence, excellent communication skills and having practical ability are essential. A work vehicle can be provided.
The role is a four day working week, Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays off and no weekend working. The working days are generally 8.30am-5.30pm, some early starts will be required but will be balanced with an early finish or time off in lieu. Salary is dependent upon experience.
