We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director at the newly amalgamated Hillsborough Veterinary Hospital, bringing together Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital, Hillsborough Veterinary Referrals and MiNight Vets. This role is ideal for a senior vet passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and delivering outstanding patient and client care.
The Role
- Provide visible and effective clinical leadership across referral, first opinion and out-of-hours services
- Champion clinical governance and drive continuous improvement
- Lead, mentor and develop veterinary and nursing teams
- Support recruitment, retention and succession planning
- Oversee clinical standards, protocols and regulatory compliance
- Promote collaboration across departments
- Contribute to budgeting, financial performance and strategic development
- Maintain strong client relationships
About You
You’ll be an experienced veterinary surgeon with significant clinical expertise and proven leadership experience. You will be confident leading multidisciplinary teams, commercially aware, and committed to clinical quality, governance and team growth. You will communicate with clarity, empathy and confidence. Certificate or Advanced Practitioner status is desirable but not essential.
