Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Full-time – Emerald, Central Queensland– AUSTRALIA. Up to £75k per annum DOE, relocation available. Curious then read on. Based in exciting Emerald in Queensland, we are working with a modern practice hiring for growth. They are looking for a two year experienced mixed vet. Whilst experience is important a kind emphatic vet who is great with patients is just as important. This is a business where everyone pulls together when there’s work and relaxes when it’s time – a real community. You will be involved with pregnancy testing cattle and equine work including ambulatory care and reproduction. You will need to have a good understanding of consults, surgeries, and an interest in medicine. Whether it's simple diagnostic consultations, routine surgeries or something more complicated they see and do the lot. No two days are the same here so you will be rolling up your sleeves up and getting stuck in right from the start. This is a great opportunity to help build and develop the small animal side of the business, stamp your mark and make a difference. Working hours – the clinic runs Monday to Friday 8:30 am -5:30 pm, no late consults, 1 hr unpaid lunch break and 1 hr per day scheduled for note writing or work up time. The rota also consists of 1:4 weekends and 1 night per week on call. So, what’s in it for you? A salary of up to £75k DOE, with an additional £10k for after hours.
