We are working with an established Poultry Farm that is recruiting for an Assistant Poultry Farm Manager, who is looking to advance into the role of Poultry Farm Manager in the short term. This is a hands-on role where you will get stuck in from the start and have the opportunity to learn. Set up in the 1950s, family-owned, with family values, this is a team environment where everybody pulls together. A dedicated team that wants the best for the business. They have three farms based around the Northallerton area.

In this role, you will uphold and maintain excellent standards of environmental conditions for bird welfare, monitor bedding, collate performance statistics, and record data. This role is integral to the smooth running of the business. Therefore, there will be some duties to attend to outside of core hours, shared with other team members, which includes weekends. Overtime will be paid above your standard hours. The standard working hours will be 39 hours a week, plus variable overtime as the role requires. Accommodation will be offered following the probation period, and a work mobile phone is provided.

So, what’s next? Send your CV, don’t worry if it’s not up to date. We can’t get the whole story in a job ad so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell.
