About the Practice

You'll be joining a fantastic, close-knit team consisting of:

  • 4 FTE Veterinary Surgeons
  • 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses
  • 4 Receptionists
  • 1 Practice Manager

The practice prides itself on creating a psychologically safe and collaborative environment where vets are encouraged to work up their own cases while having the support of experienced colleagues whenever needed. The Role

Permanent position

30–37 hours per week

4‑day working week

1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–2pm)

No out‑of‑hours

No bank holiday working

Responsibilities

  • Delivering a mix of consultations and surgical procedures
  • Managing and developing your own cases
  • Occasional sole‑charge shifts
  • Supporting and mentoring veterinary students during placements
  • Maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient welfare

About You

  • Experienced and confident in first‑opinion small animal practice
  • Comfortable with a mix of consultations, surgery and occasional sole charge
  • Friendly, approachable and team‑oriented
  • Passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care
  • RCVS registered (or eligible to register)
