Who we are: We are Vet-AI, and we are delivering the pet care of the future. Our flagship app, Joii Pet Care was created to make pet care affordable and accessible for all pet owners. Through Joii, pet mums and dads can video call a vet 24/7, use an intelligent pet symptom checker (think NHS 111 but for pets), or seek preventative care through nurse clinics. And yes - it can all be done from the comfort of home - drastically reducing the need for in-person vet trips.

Our mission: To make pet care affordable and accessible for everyone. To improve the lives and wellbeing of everyone working within the veterinary industry. Quite simply, we want vet care to be available to everyone, and to ensure the people who are delivering it with us are as happy as they can be.

Our brand values:

  • Brave: We are not afraid to disrupt the status quo. Championing what’s right for pets and standing confidently behind our purpose. Even when it’s challenged.
  • Boundless: We do not constrain ourselves to the expectations of traditional pet care; we’re young, bright and full of fresh ideas.
  • Togetherness: We share an ‘in-it-together’ mindset. We’re one team; we don’t leave anyone to face problems alone when we can help.

Role Summary: We're looking for a hands-on, high-energy marketing all-rounder who thrives on variety and takes genuine pride in their craft. You'll be equally comfortable writing a sharp press release, running an email campaign, and setting up an exhibition stand, often in the same week. This isn't a role for someone who needs a narrow brief or a big team behind them. You'll work directly with leadership, own your outputs end to end, and bring the kind of initiative and enthusiasm that makes things happen without being asked twice. If you have solid B2B marketing experience, a way with words, and the drive to make a real impact in a fast-moving company, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create content that connects: Newsletters, thought leadership articles, blogs. You’ll write the copy that makes our work and achievements stand out.
  • Own our voice in the press: Write press releases and pitch to journalists to win coverage that builds our brand in pet insurance, corporate benefits and clinical research.
  • Own clinical trial recruitment and campaigns: Design and deliver comms journeys that recruit users for our clinical research customers.
  • Support sales: Organise exhibitions, design stands and collateral, and produce demo videos and decks that open doors for our sales team.
  • Account management support: Support in maintaining strong relationships with clients, answering their needs and supplying what they require.
  • Drive LinkedIn: Keep our channel active and engaging, building an audience that genuinely wants to hear from us.

Knowledge/Experience required:

  • B2B marketing experience, creating assets and writing copy that engages business audiences.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills across all formats: long form, short form, and social media.
  • Event organisation experience, delivering to a high standard and on time.
  • Client-facing confidence, comfortable collaborating with partners to grow and sustain relationships.
  • Creativity and creative thinking.
  • CRM experience, using platforms such as Braze to build flows and trigger comms.
  • Energy and a can-do attitude.
  • An all rounder. Brilliant organisation and the ability to prioritise when it counts.
  • A collaborative, positive, people-first approach.

What you’ll get: We’re a startup transitioning to a scale-up, so if you like a slow pace we’re not the company for you. However, if you do like a supportive team, a fun culture, and the feeling of creating incredible work - you’ll fit right in!

Some of the perks you’ll get with us are:

  • Fully remote (UK)
  • Access to a co-working space budget (for non-clinicians)
  • Private Medical Insurance (for Part time / Full time employees)
  • Headspace Membership
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Enhanced Family Leave and fertility support
  • Enhanced company sick pay
  • Contribution to professional development and professional membership budget
  • 33 days of paid holiday including the usual UK public bank holidays (pro rata’d)
  • Frequent remote and in-person social
  • Flexible start and finish times (for non-clinicians)
  • Free use of the platform
  • New starter home office setup contribution
  • Twice yearly Continuous Performance Management Reviews

Diversity and Inclusion: We’re building an inclusive and diverse team. We truly believe that surrounding ourselves with different opinions means that we’ll challenge our own assumptions instead of thinking we know the correct answer. We welcome applications from everyone and will foster an encouraging and caring workplace. If you aren’t sure if you qualify, send us your CV anyway. We’ll take the time to look over your application and give you feedback.
