Position Overview: Our Client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role mainly focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems. Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Aid the business as it begins the journey of robotic automation.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical/Mechanical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve quality. Continuously seek opportunities to reduce downtime, increase equipment reliability, and optimize resource utilization.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues to identify root causes and implement timely solutions to minimize disruptions in operations.
