CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company that is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join its skilled machining team. The position involves programming, setting and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture high-quality precision components. Experience with Heidenhain controls would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities * Programme, set and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines * Manufacture precision components to the required specifications and tolerances * Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings * Understand and work with geometric dimensions and tolerances * Select and use suitable cutting tools * Inspect completed components using a range of precision measuring equipment * Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and safety * Work in accordance with company procedures and policies Skills and Experience * Previous CNC milling experience * Ability to programme, set and operate CNC milling machines * Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis machining * Heidenhain control experience is preferred * Strong understanding of engineering drawings * Good knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances * Good knowle...
