Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new and existing products within a range of self-propelled sprayers. The design team works closely with manufacturing and management.
- Develop and implement control systems to optimise production.
- Update and maintain documentation relating to systems and processes.
- Evaluate system performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist with the development of technical reports and related documentation.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues using continuous improvement and structured problem-solving tools, driving root-cause corrective actions and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering design and safety principles.
- Proficiency with CAD software; experience with PTC products (e.g., Creo Parametric) is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with automation within a manufacturing environment.
- Background in machining and sheet-metal processes is beneficial.
- Understanding of design standards is advantageous.
