About the role: Vestiaire Collective seeks a detail‑oriented General Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards in a fast‑paced, international e‑commerce environment.
What you will do:
- Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, intercompany accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and support the monthly closing process.
- Assist with VAT/sales tax calculations and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and management reports to liaise with local tax provider.
- Communication with different interlocutors linked to financial topics.
- Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve controls.
Who you are:
- Accounting license or bachelor’s degree; 2–5 years of working experience in tax accounting fields.
- Good understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting standards.
- Good interpersonal skills, and able to communicate to stakeholders confidently.
- Motivated to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
- Great knowledge of French and good communication in English.
