Winberry is supporting a growing renewable energy contractor looking for experienced Solar Installers to join their installation teams on projects across the UK. The successful Solar Installer will work on a variety of commercial rooftop and large domestic Solar PV installations, supporting projects from initial mounting through to final installation. This is an excellent opportunity for installers looking for long-term contract work with a busy and expanding business.
We're keen to speak with candidates who have a background in Solar PV installation, although electricians and roofers with relevant experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Installing Solar PV mounting systems and panels
- Commercial rooftop and large domestic installations
- Working safely at height
- Assisting with cable routing and installation works
- Working alongside electricians and installation teams
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Following all health and safety procedures on site
- Previous Solar PV installation experience preferred
- Electrical or roofing background highly desirable
- Comfortable working at height
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy travelling and staying away during the working week when required
- CSCS card preferred
- IPAF, PASMA or Working at Height qualifications advantageous
- Weekly pay
