The role
You'll work on varied power generation projects, with responsibilities including:
- Design and Drawings – electrical and mechanical, including single line electrical drawings, control system layouts, electrical connections diagrams, fuel schematics.
- Producing CAD drawings.
- Working on generator sizing, ventilation and acoustic designs.
- Preparing & reviewing technical documentation, drawing, data sheets & testing documents.
- Providing technical expertise to project managers and internal teams.
- Supporting occasional commissioning, testing and site activities.
What we're looking for
An electrical or mechanical engineer with design experience, ideally within power generation or a related industry. You'll bring:
- Relevant engineering qualifications or at least three years' practical experience.
- Design experience with generator systems, fuel systems and electrical distribution.
- 2D AUTO CAD skills and experience producing technical drawings.
- Knowledge of control systems, including PLC programming (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
