Vested Search are excited to partner with a well established private equity investor who are looking to add a newly created US Tax Manager into their London headquarters. This is a newly created role owing to growth in their global asset portfolio, with the intended focus to be on running US tax compliance and reporting initiatives for funds and assets.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage US tax reporting and compliance requirements for all fund types and entities, inclusive of K-1 reporting, 1065, 1042 and W form processes.
- Managing external service providers to ensure proper completion of above areas and wider operational support to the business as a US tax expert.
- Group management compliance where it is relevant to US tax.
- Support to the funds executives on US partnership tax matters, working widely within the group executive function.
- Optimising and developing US tax operations and data management to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Engaging with tax authorities where appropriate and acting as key contact in the business for any external matters relating to US tax.
Individuals should have a strong background in US tax within the asset management space with CPA qualifications an additional bonus.
