Vested Search are excited to partner with a globally established private equity investor who are looking to add a Tax Director into their global tax function in London. This role will focus solely on transaction and international tax structuring for private equity and alternative assets globally.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic tax advice on transactions and affiliated activity relating to fund activity (dispositions, platform acquisitions, bolt on deals and exits from fund lifecycle).
- Structuring and due diligence of transactions across the alternative asset portfolio, with additional work on modelling workstreams.
- Working closely with external counsel and advisors across the transaction lifecycle where appropriate—directing engagements to ensure overall tax strategy is met.
- Monitoring international tax developments and policy to inform investment activity and relevant tax obligations, in particular developments in Europe.
- Internal engagement with teams across investment, deal and portfolio teams, legal, finance and compliance—building strong relationships at all levels.
Qualifications:
- Individuals should come from a transaction tax / M&A tax background with strong familiarity with the private equity or wider investment industry.
