Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of dispatchers to deliver services in line with KPIs, contractual obligations, and customer expectations.
- Plan and schedule work efficiently to minimise downtime and maximise productivity, ensuring tools, parts, and services are optimised ahead of execution.
- Make effective prioritisation decisions in response to changing operational and business needs.
- Own short‑ and long‑term forecasting, monitoring performance, quality, and efficiency against plan.
- Track and control Planning & Scheduling KPIs and PPIs, implementing corrective and mitigation actions where required.
- Proactively identify, consolidate, and escalate issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning and scheduling processes to enhance operational performance.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in a related subject (appropriate work experience also considered).
- Experience with people management.
- Experience in a similar operational role/department dealing with planning/logistics/service.
- Completed technical, commercial or project management training is an advantage.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- IT skills (preferred: SAP, Salesforce, MS Office).
