We are seeking an inspiring manager to guide a team of Commissioning Lead Site Managers within Offshore Execution. This is a key leadership role, focused on improving performance, building capability, and setting a clear standard for what excellence looks like. You bring extensive experience in leading leaders, with the ability to operate effectively in a distance leadership environment. Bringing together offshore knowledge and initiative, you can handle complexity and keep project delivery at a high standard.

At the core of this role is people leadership. You are committed to developing individuals and teams, building a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability. As an effective communicator with a global mindset, you will align teams, engage stakeholders, and continuously raise the bar for both performance and leadership.

The manager will lead a team of approximately 15–20 Commissioning Lead Site Managers. These individuals serve as the responsible site managers onboard Service Operation Vessels (SOVs), overseeing and coordinating commissioning activities across offshore construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop teams and individuals, ensuring alignment with Vestas’ culture and strategic objectives
  • Oversee hiring and retention while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and high performance
  • Create a positive work environment with a focus on employee well-being and work–life balance
  • Hold budget responsibility and ensure effective allocation of resources
  • Support projects and key stakeholders by providing capable and well-trained resources
  • Ensure operational readiness by maintaining a workforce to meet business demands
  • Manage the overall direction of Offshore Execution and I&C Management, including continuous improvement initiatives and processes
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a leadership role within the wind industry
  • Experience leading remotely, including managing leaders and teams effectively
  • Solid knowledge of Health, Safety, and Quality (HSQ) standards
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • In-depth understanding of operational processes
  • Proficient in IT systems, including MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective planning and coordination abilities
  • Willingness to adjust and respond to change
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse and multicultural teams
  • Comfortable navigating complex governance structures
  • Capable of building effective cross-functional relationships
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to offshore project sites
