Vestas Offshore Supply Chain Department handles logistics and warehouse operations on board Service Operations Vessels and Jack-Up Vessels, supporting Special Projects and service of wind turbines across European seas. This role operates in an open, teamwork‑focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Picking, issuing and receiving of materials and spare parts to and from teams of technicians
- Communicating and coordinating with the Service organization and supply teams to ensure necessary tools, spare parts and equipment are available
- Maintaining stock records in the SAP ERP system
- Processing material postings and performing inventories
- Ensuring order, cleanliness and compliance with work‑safety requirements
- Coordinating transport of goods and customs clearance during regular port calls
- Managing PPE, hoists, testing tools and other devices that require periodic testing or calibrations
- Serving as appointed person for on‑site calibration
- Requesting offers for local purchases and creating purchase orders
- Handling proper disposal and waste on the vessel and offloading in port
- Co‑ordinating ad‑hoc spare parts deliveries to wind farms
- Supporting service site management with organisational tasks
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship and/or degree in warehouse‑management or logistics
- Warehouse experience in the wind industry is beneficial
- Full driving licence
- Experience with customs clearance/declaration is beneficial
- Computer skills: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, ERP (SAP/AX)
- Good communication skills in English
- Adherence to and compliance with local laws and regulations
