The Service department, headquartered in Warrington, UK, is responsible for the service and maintenance of all Vestas wind turbines in the UK. Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule service and corrective orders, providing technical solutions for technicians.
  • Define resources needed for service orders, including competencies, materials, and tools.
  • Apply technical solution procedures and create technical work instructions.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders (service technicians, back office, etc.).
  • Drive continuous improvement in the planning process, focusing on structure, process, and strategic planning for future tasks.
  • Support Service Process Development and handle ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant area (e.g., engineering or technical field).
  • Several years of work experience in a technical environment or as a wind turbine technician/senior engineer (mechanical or electrical).
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP, etc.).
