Operating within the Northern and Central Europe business unit of Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas Celtic Wind Technology Ltd focuses on selling, constructing, and operating onshore wind power plants in the UK and Ireland. With offices in Warrington and Dublin, the Service Department manages the servicing and maintenance of wind turbines in these regions.

Responsibilities

The Service Customer Agent works with a team of Agents, Engineers, and Customer Managers. Your role will involve maintaining technical and operational relationships with a diverse range of customers, from large utility companies to autonomous developers and infrastructure funds. Your scope includes:

  1. Owning, coordinating, and resolving customer issues systematically, and maintaining relationships with customer representatives.
  2. Providing first-line technical support and acting as the primary interface between customers and our Technical Support and Engineering teams.
  3. Conducting routine operational and technical calls, and participating in business reviews as needed.
  4. Collaborating effectively across departments to keep customers informed about service operations, changes, delays, safety, and environmental issues.
  5. Identifying new aftermarket sales opportunities and securing business transactions.
  6. Leading projects that enhance team efficiency, improve our business, and enrich customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, customer service, or technical support.
  • Knowledge of wind turbines, rotating machinery, or similar systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, or Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stay productive during busy periods.
  • Problem-solving skills and efficiency in completing tasks.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Structured, accurate, and collaborative communication skills across the UK and Ireland.
