Are you ready to lead the charge in renewable energy? Join our team and play a key role in supporting the service operations of wind farms across South & Central Scotland.
We focus exclusively on selling, constructing, and operating wind power plants in the UK and Ireland. Service UK and Ireland is responsible for the service and maintenance of our customers' wind power plants in both markets. Together with our colleagues throughout Vestas, we handle some of the largest operational projects for some of the most complex customers in Europe. We are now looking for a Field Supervisor to support our Service operation in the Scotland North area. The position will report to the Area Supervisor, with responsibility for delivering on our daily operations challenges within planned time frames and agreed costs.
Responsibilities- Ensure safety & quality standards and processes are maintained
- Deliver daily operational performance to meet requirements of forecast and planning, with focus on cost and efficiency
- Delivery to commitments on turbine performance
- Continually implement change management in line with operations development
- Develop the skills and competencies necessary within your teams to meet operations goals
- Responsibility for recruitment and leadership of local service technicians and hub support roles
- Team building, motivation, employee satisfaction & development
- High degree of Safety Awareness
- Leadership and team building skills & experience
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- IT knowledge and hands-on experience is highly desired and MS Office suite knowledge - willingness to learn
