Region NCE > Customer Project Execution, NCE > Offshore Quality Inspectors
As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the onshore project team, working closely to get the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) from installation, commissioning, and into operation. You must ensure compliance with Vestas\’ safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with project team members, including client representatives, on all quality tasks. You are responsible for completing your work scope safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct component inspections
- Coordinate quality scope with the project team to meet customer WTG requirements while ensuring a safe work environment in compliance with Vestas\’ HSE standards
- Identify, describe, register, and report non-conformities
- Review, approve, and document inspection reports
- Coordinate quality improvements across Vestas\’ value chain
- Inspect incoming deliveries to site, such as nacelles, towers, and blades
Qualifications
- Good understanding of ISO standards; ISO 9001 experience is desirable
- Wind turbine experience is desirable
- Strong English communication skills (verbal, listening, written, meeting management, presentation)
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams is preferred
- WTG experience is a plus
- Leadership and delegation skills
