Do you have good work experience within a wind blade manufacturing environment? We are looking for Product Introduction Technicians who want to support in solving one of the most important global issues of our time – Ensuring a more sustainable future.
Vestas Technology & Operations > Manufacturing > Launch & Training is a department within PE Blades under Global Manufacturing, driving activities to secure successful launches of new & existing products across the value chain. Our department strives to ensure the delivery of matured, flawless and risk mitigated products to both internal and external manufacturing partners by providing comprehensive support before and during launch of new products through Global Launch Teams. We are committed to maximizing the speed of introducing changes and new products while ensuring the necessary skills and competencies are consistently upheld across all manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Support Quality assurance, Tech transfer and NPI projects
- Ensure training records are made available and maintained within LMS for all training and accredited courses on assigned Projects
- Ensure all assessments within scope are conducted with meeting the company standards
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of training materials for new products
- Provide support to enhance the effectiveness of product training initiatives by assisting with the development, delivery and evaluation of related tasks and materials
- Review of production basis, including capturing deviations and raising OSOS tasks
Qualifications
- NVQ in composite manufacturing
- Fluent in English, both written and verbally
- Manufacturing certifications
- Certifications in Finishing and/or Painting composites. Preferably from Wind, Aerospace or Marine industry
- Must hold a valid category B driving license and an unexpired passport
Competencies
- We prefer experience in Painting or Finishing of composites
- A team player who has a "can do" attitude and who works well in a complex, demanding, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- You have experience with training facilitation, coordination, alignment, and execution
- You have experience with Taxonomy, setting SMART Objectives, Instructional techniques, building Lessons plans and courses
- You have great IT skills and can quickly understand and read systems and dependencies between systems
