The Maintenance Department is a key support function within the blade manufacturing process. Our team of 24 Maintenance Technicians is responsible for servicing and maintaining tools, equipment, machinery, and transport equipment across the site. The team ensures that all equipment operates to the required standards, breakdowns are resolved efficiently, and maintenance activities are accurately recorded within the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment, as well as hand tools.
- Maintaining calibration and measurement equipment and associated systems.
- Diagnosing and interrogating PLC-controlled equipment and systems.
- Administering maintenance systems, including planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support.
- Ensuring work areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition using 5S methodology.
- Contributing to supplier evaluations for maintenance-related equipment and services.
- Working safely at all times and maintaining a strong safety culture among colleagues.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge and experience in areas such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
- Technical or vocational qualification in a maintenance-related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining equipment within a manufacturing environment.

Working Hours
This role operates within our 24/7 manufacturing environment and requires participation in a rotating shift pattern. Each shift is 12.25 hours, providing a structured working pattern with regular periods of time off between rotations. Willingness and the ability to work both day and night shifts are essential for this position.
