Job Description
Vestas is the largest renewable energy solutions provider in the World. Vestas NCE is responsible for sales, construction, and servicing of wind projects in Benelux and other European Markets. Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

Purpose and reason for the existence of the job
Vestas Wind Systems, Supply Chain Repair & Tools operates NCE Regional Warehouses for Vestas NCE Service. This position supports primarily the Onshore and Offshore Warehouses throughout NCE, as well as Offshore Vessels within Service operations. The position is indirectly responsible for around 70 employees mainly from UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. The daily routines will consist not only of managing with your team but also communicating with a multi-cultural pool of stakeholders with different demands.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple warehouse locations to ensure efficient, cost-effective Supply Chain Operations and reliable delivery of materials to Service Operations.
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities across BNL Onshore and whole NCE Offshore, maintaining seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance.
- Manage warehouse budgets, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate with Service Operations to find pain points, synergies and opportunities for mutual improvements.
- Manage, coach, track professional development and guide a multicultural, highly skilled team in Supply Chain Operations Onshore and Offshore.
- Take decisions about employment conditions and staffing arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related areas. Communication and other soft skills play a big role in this position; therefore, different degrees will be considered.
- Previous management experience. (Transferable skills will be taken into consideration)
- Experience in SAP MMA or other ERP systems.
- Full fluency in English. Additional languages are highly desirable.
- Experience with Material Flow, Warehousing Processes, Health & Safety procedures.
