Are you an experienced in Offshore Operations? Then Vestas has an opportunity for you! The Moray East service team is responsible for service and maintenance of 100 V164 WTG in the Moray Firth, NE Scotland. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily service activities, including vessel logistics, technician transfers, and weather monitoring.
  • Prepare transfer plans, daily service reports, and contribute to monthly customer reporting.
  • Create and manage service work orders in SAP and maintain planning and reporting tools.
  • Plan and coordinate annual service and maintenance activities, including upgrades.
  • Support the implementation of new procedures and operational processes.
  • Approve technician hours and provide general operational support to the Service Manager.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through compliance with Vestas’ Health, Safety, and electrical safety management systems.

Qualifications

  • Electrical or mechanical qualification through a degree and/or completed apprenticeship.
  • Minimum 2 years’ professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or high voltage.
  • Knowledge of general safety coordination and strong safety awareness.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Full driving licence with the ability to positively influence and guide others.

Competencies

  • Have experience from a planning role as well as wind turbine experience.
  • Know how to handle general safety and safety awareness.
  • Are a self-starter and possess great organisational and time management skills.
  • Are you motivated, reliable, technically proficient and a collaborator?
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Have a full driving license, be able to multi-task.
  • Can influence and direct others in a positive manner.
