The pre-owned sales department plays a crucial role in offering refurbished wind turbines to meet customer needs. We are seeking a well-organized Sales Manager who will be part of the Sales Management team located in Videbæk, Denmark, responsible for all pre-owned sales activities in the UK and Ireland. The Sales Specialist shall be based in the UK or Ireland.
ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will be:
- Evaluate commercial contract negotiations and review tender materials to support sound decision making.
- Develop effective bid, negotiation, and commercial strategies to maximize sales outcomes.
- Gather and synthesize information from internal and external stakeholders to prepare project proposals for management approval.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging business opportunities and industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members to progress sales initiatives, even when working with limited information.
- Provide customer service and ongoing support to clients throughout the entire sales process.
- Serve as the first point of contact for commercial issues and manage internal escalations efficiently.
Several years of experience in sales, particularly in managing large B2B contracts in the wind energy or similar field is required. Project management experience is preferred. You should be skilled in long-cycle contract negotiation and closing skills, with a background in a related field such as legal (FIDIC), technical, or commercial role. A deep understanding of the commercial aspects of complex products and how they are translated into a contractual context is essential. Proficiency in English at a negotiation level is also required.
