As a dispatcher, you will be a part of a global Capacity & Master Planning team supporting offshore sites across the globe. Your role will involve supporting the operational site team with maintenance and materials planning, documentation management, service scheduling and facilitation of our ERP operating system.
In line with Vestas' quality, HSE, and Operational procedures, it will be your responsibility to organise, plan and support all site activities, ensuring the smooth and safe availability of maintenance plans and general site resources for the offshore delivery of works.
Responsibilities- Analysis and preparation of service orders for technicians and technical approval of service orders after completion
- Prepare, level out & assign works for the territory & tasks of responsibility, to deliver best match for needs and potential (i.e. weather conditions & skills)
- Define resources needed for service orders in collaboration with the Supervisors, e.g. competencies, materials, and tools
- Bundle and optimize work order composition
- Daily communication with technicians, technical support functions, and customers
- Continuous improvement, including active search for areas for improvement, as well as a strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks
- Experience with technical planning or a dispatcher role, obtained in a technical environment
- General understanding of WTG technology and an interest in diving into technical documentation
- Good IT skills. Worked with SAP
- Good English skills both oral and written
- Full driver's license
- Good time management
- Structured and solution-oriented approach to daily tasks
- Safety focused on an ability to coordinate and implement safety standards
- Good communicator and able to effectively collaborate with colleagues
