We\’re on the lookout for 10 dedicated, hands-on problem-solvers to join our offshore service technician apprenticeship program. Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will be: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on offshore wind turbines Develop mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills Work at heights and in offshore environments, handling complex equipment safely Plan maintenance tasks, ensuring the necessary tools, spares, and materials are prepared Troubleshoot turbine components and determine the best repair or replacement solutions Qualifications Academic Requirements: Scottish Highers in Mathematics and/or Physics OR equivalent qualifications, or relevant vocational certifications Location Requirement: You must live within a 50-mile radius of Montrose or be willing to relocate Other Requirements: Ability to work at heights, offshore, and in various weather conditions Competencies We expect that you: Are strong problem-solvers with excellent attention to detail Adapt quickly to changing environments and challenges Work effectively in teams and communicate clearly Are passionate about renewable energy and committed to continuous learning Prioritize safety and uphold high standards in technical work What we offer We offer a very generous apprentice salary, 25 days annual leave, optional Medical/Dental cover as well as a pension.
