Overview
In this role you will support pre-installation activities for offshore wind projects, applying your mechanical or electrical background to ensure safe, timely preparation for installation.
You will work with a multinational team to safeguard quality and adherence to safety standards while coordinating documentation and site readiness.
The position involves hands-on supervision of lifting operations, tooling, and progress tracking on large renewable energy projects.
You’ll gain global exposure and contribute to shaping efficient pre-installation processes within a leading wind company.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety and quality standards across tasks
- Coordinate pre-installation documentation with the Quality Supervisor
- Utilize current work and installation instructions
- Apply correct torque and tension values
- Oversee inventory and condition of tools and lifting gear with Subcontractor
- Communicate safety/pre-installation updates to staff and supervise lifting operations
- Oversee performance and safety of the Pre-installation team, perform mechanical inspections, order parts, handle NCRs, support Q-team, and monitor site progress to meet timelines
- Key requirements
- Mechanical or electrical background
- Wind industry experience (e. g., V164 or similar)
- Strong focus on HSE, quality and customer relations
- Knowledge of coordinating safety and safety awareness
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
