Job Summary
Lead a team of quality professionals at Vestas' Isle of Wight manufacturing facility to ensure product and process quality and support the global energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Production Quality team.
- Oversee product and process quality across the factory to ensure consistent delivery of high standards.
- Manage preventive quality engineering and continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Maintain the local Quality Management System and ISO 9001 readiness.
- Manage internal, external, and customer quality audits.
- Use quality performance data and insights to support continuous improvement and strategic decision‑making.
- Represent Quality in strategic projects and stakeholder forums.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Desirable: Experience with Quality Core Tools (APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC).
- Desirable: Black Belt certification.
- Desirable: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
- Desirable: Experience as a Quality Specialist, Non‑conformity Case Handler, or Quality Approver.
- Desirable: Experience in managing quality compliance, audits, and customer requirements.

- Experience applying preventive quality engineering methodologies.
- Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems and audit processes.
