We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants with Pastoral experience or Behavioural Support experience to join our team, working in primary schools. Positions available in Aberdare and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom environment.
What is required:
- Experience in a UK school setting.
- DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain a new one.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 or 3).
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support individual students or small groups in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Provide one-to-one support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management, including setting up materials and resources.
- Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities.
- Support pupils with their reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
