To support the efficient manufacture, quality checking and delivery of Air Door products by carrying out production activities to defined safety, quality and performance standards.
The role contributes to a safe, organised and high-performing manufacturing environment, ensuring products are built, tested and dispatched in line with specifications, deadlines and SOPs.
Working collaboratively with the wider team, the role supports stock control, continuous improvement and clear escalation of risks, quality issues and operational challenges.
Through a flexible and proactive approach, the role helps maintain workflow, meet delivery commitments and support the ongoing growth of the Air Door function.

- Roles and responsibilities
- Carry out end-to-end manufacturing of Air Door units, including folding, welding, sanding, powder coating, assembly, testing, wrapping, labelling, storage and dispatch, while safely operating relevant machinery (e. g. press brake) where required.
- Deliver all work in line with defined specifications, drawings, SOPs, processes and quality standards, ensuring deadlines are met while remaining adaptable to changing priorities.
- Adhere to all health & safety requirements, risk assessments and safe working practices at all times, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
- Complete in-build quality checks and support final inspection processes, proactively identifying, reporting and assisting in the resolution of defects or non-conformances.
- Support stock handling, material movements and basic stores activities, including assisting with stock counts and ensuring materials are available to meet production needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment, upholding high standards of housekeeping, factory organisation and equipment care.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and support shared tasks to ensure smooth workflow, meet delivery priorities and maintain overall team performance.
- Contribute to lean manufacturing practices, continuous improvement initiatives and the development of standardised ways of working.
- Proactively identify and elevate risks, quality concerns, material shortages or delivery issues to the Manufacturing Lead in a timely manner.
- Complete all required training, certifications and development activities to maintain competence and support personal growth within the role.
Undertake any additional duties reasonably required to support the effective operation and growth of the Air Door function and wider business.
