An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our valued client as a Senior Fire Risk Assessor, leading a small team and signing off on all Fire Risk Assessments across the business. This role would suit someone with a minimum of Level 4 Certificate in Intermediate Fire Risk Assessment. Level 5 Certificate in Advanced Fire Risk Assessment preferred. Starting salary between £45,000 and £60,000, reflective of the candidate's experience and qualification level. As this role will involve travel throughout the UK and our client offers flexible home working, they are flexible as to where the candidate lives, however Midlands or North of the Midlands/Cheshire based would be ideal in order to reduce travel times.
The successful Senior Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for:
- Managing a small team of Fire Risk Assessors, dealing with escalations and more complex clients.
- Signing off on all Fire Risk Assessments.
- Mentoring Fire Risk Assessors to ensure their full potential is maximised.
- Conducting detailed, complex fire risk assessments across a range of premises.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients.
- Developing tailored action plans to mitigate fire hazards.
- Providing expert guidance to clients on compliance with UK fire safety legislation.
The ideal Senior Fire Risk Assessor will have:
- A minimum of Level 4 Certificate in Intermediate Fire Risk Assessment.
- Level 5 Certificate in Advanced Fire Risk Assessment preferred.
- Proven experience within a Fire Risk Assessing role.
- Knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Experience leading a team.
- An ability to make decisions and be accountable.
- Full UK driving licence, with a willingness to travel.
