Warehouse Operative in Wolverhampton

Our Client, a thriving Company based in Wolverhampton, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work as part of a small team

Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Operative will include: -

• Daily warehouse operations including goods-in and goods out (pick, pack, despatch).
• Inventory management, handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Manage imports from UK and overseas suppliers.

The ideal Warehouse Operative candidate will have: -

• Previous experience in a warehouse role.
• Experience working in a small team environment.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Fork lift truck licence (essential.)
• Reach truck licence (desirable but not essential.)
• Strong work ethic.
• Non-smoker.
• Excellent IT skills, with experience using warehouse management systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Self-motivated, proactive nature.

Benefits of Senior Warehouse Operative position to include: -

• A competitive starting salary of £30,000 (may be flexible beyond this for the right candidate).
• Working hours: 6.30am-4.30pm Mondays,7am- 4.30pm Tuesday to Friday. 42.5 hours per week.
