About the role. Ready to make your mark on some of the most visible and engaging channels in retail? With our bold brand strategy and award-winning creative platform already turning heads, we're looking for a Social Strategy & Insights Executive to help bring the sparkle to our social presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, detail-oriented, and ambitious individual to play a central role in delivering best-in-class social strategy across our multi-category department store. Reporting into the Social Strategy Lead, you'll take ownership of delivering insight led reporting and support on spotting new strategic opportunities across our key channels - Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest & YouTube. You'll primarily focus on reporting on Organic Social performance, whilst working closely with the Influencer & Paid Social teams, to deliver integrated reporting and drive improved performance. From fashion and beauty to home, toys, and tech, you'll be at the heart of it all – ensuring that our content is insight-driven and that we're continually pushing our strategy forward.
What you'll be doing:
- Own & deliver daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting, working alongside channel teams to surface actionable insights to inform planning and maximise impact.
- Monitor performance and lead daily stand ups with the team to ensure learnings are being implemented into content plans.
- Be the voice of our customer on social, using social listening tools to monitor how they are talking about our brand & their evolving content interests.
- Deliver timely competitor analysis, sharing insights & inspiration with the wider teams.
- Work closely with the organic social, influencer & paid media teams to ensure insights guide decision-making.
- Support the Social Strategy Lead to roll out new reporting cadence, developing reporting templates and dashboards which are robust and fit for purpose.
- Contribute to strategic ideation and campaign planning, bringing insight-led recommendations and trend-led ideas which drive integration across organic, paid & influencer.
- Keep on top of cultural moments, creator trends, and platform developments – developing insight-led proposals for new opportunities and sharing with the wider team for implementation.
- Supporting the Social Strategy Lead to roll out the new social strategy, driving an integrated content eco-system & supporting projects across Organic, Influencer & Paid Social.
About you. 3 years+ in a social media role with a strong focus on analytics/insights, ideally within retail, fashion, or consumer brands. Strategic & creative – a strong eye for great content backed by insights. Ability to interpret complex social data, extract meaningful insights and use the data to influence decisions. Confident working across data from all social platforms and with social-first formats like Reels, TikToks, Stories, and carousels. Up to date on algorithms, audience behaviour, and evolving content formats. Naturally tuned into social trends, pop culture, and creator communities. Experience compiling insight led proposals and presenting these to wider teams. Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Passionate about great content and storytelling—always thinking of the next big idea. Clear and confident in liaising across teams and levels. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and explain underlying drivers. Experience using social analytics tools & platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite).
