About the role.
We’re looking for a highly organised Customs Controller to manage the day-to-day customs process for shipments to and from the Republic of Ireland. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with customs and duty requirements, while driving process improvements and supporting our global supply chain.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage import and export processes for shipments to and from the Republic of Ireland, including customs declarations.
- Support HMRC and Irish Revenue audit requests.
- Keep up to date with global trade developments and regulatory changes.
- Maintain accurate customs classification for all products.
- Build strong relationships across our global supply chain.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve customs processes.
Please note: This role includes weekend work—typically one weekend in every three weeks. When you work additional cover shifts, you’ll receive days off in lieu the following week.

- Previous experience in a similar role is ideal but not essential.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
- Analytical and numerate, with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
