The Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Large Format Print Operative to join our production team. This role would suit either an experienced print operator or someone looking to build a long-term career in the large format print industry. You will gain hands-on experience working with industry-leading UV and dye-sublimation printing equipment in a fast-paced production environment, reporting directly to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating large format print machinery across UV and dye-sublimation departments to produce high-quality output
- Preparing, checking, and setting up artwork for print
- Carrying out routine cleaning and maintenance of print machinery
- Loading and unloading a variety of print materials and substrates
- Performing quality control checks on printed materials and making necessary adjustments
- Operating and maintaining large format digital cutting equipment
- Supporting production targets by assisting across print, finishing, and packing departments as required
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Following all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Advantageous (but not essential)
- Previous experience in large format printing or signage/graphics
- Familiarity with RIP software (e.g. Caldera, Onyx)
- Experience within the display, exhibition, or print industry
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, [ 8:30am – 5:00pm]
Physical Requirements
This role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods, working with large and sometimes heavy materials.
