We’re looking for a dynamic Revenue Manager to join VervLife in a national role, driving leasing performance and revenue growth across our managed properties. The Revenue Manager is a senior strategic role responsible for driving revenue performance across the VervLife portfolio. This role will own and shape the revenue management and pricing strategy across all assets under management, ensuring we maximise rental income, occupancy, and net operating income (NOI) for our clients. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, including General Managers, Compliance, and Marketing, and work closely with external partners, from building owners to local authorities. Your mission: ensure maximum occupancy, strong leasing performance, and outstanding customer experiences while driving profitability. You’ll be a key player in shaping rental strategies, supporting new developments, and continuously improving processes to enhance tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy & Pricing
- Lead and develop revenue management strategy across the portfolio, incorporating dynamic pricing, yield management, and demand‑led rate setting.
- Implement key disciplines including rate optimisation, length‑of‑stay and void analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
- Manage rental income strategies to maximise occupancy, retention, and revenue.
- Analyse market data, pricing trends, and demand signals to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
- Balance short‑term tactical actions with long‑term revenue objectives.
- Produce forecasts and scenario modelling to support planning and client reporting.
- Leasing Performance & Conversion
- Drive performance across the leasing funnel (enquiries through to lets agreed), managing targets and conversion rates.
- Train and support property teams on enquiry handling, viewings, progression, SLAs, and best practice.
- Monitor and improve the full tenant journey, identifying inefficiencies and enhancing customer experience.
- Capture and act on feedback to continuously improve conversion.
- Manage voids, renewals, and notifications to minimise income loss.
- Collaborate with Central Lettings and Branch Managers to ensure clear goals and consistent standards.
- Client Management & Reporting
- Act as the senior revenue lead in client relationships, presenting performance, strategy, and recommendations.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to clients and stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive outcomes.
- Align revenue strategies with individual client asset plans across the portfolio.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Oversee market rent and competitor analysis processes, ensuring compliance and a strong evidence base.
- Monitor sector performance and competitor activity to inform pricing and positioning.
- Stay informed on Build‑to‑Rent, Co‑living, and wider rental market trends, bringing innovation to strategy.
- Benchmark portfolio performance to identify strengths and opportunities.
- Compliance, Systems & Process
- Ensure compliance with the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 and all relevant legislation across operating regions.
- Optimise CRM, PMS, and lettings systems to improve efficiency through automation and personalisation.
- Oversee enquiry handling, tenancy processes, referencing, and documentation standards.
- Support inventory processes and ensure high‑quality onboarding and check‑in experiences.
- Team Development & Mobilisation
- Train, coach, and support leasing and resident services teams to achieve revenue and service targets.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development across the portfolio.
- Work with mobilisation teams to ensure successful lease‑up of new developments.
- Contribute to new business and tender processes with revenue expertise.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations to ensure campaigns deliver measurable ROI.
- Support strategies to improve tenant feedback, reviews, and community satisfaction.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Significant experience in lettings, revenue management, or senior commercial roles in residential rental.
- Proven ability to develop and implement pricing strategies across multi‑site portfolios.
- Strong analytical capability with experience translating data into commercial decisions.
- Track record of driving occupancy, revenue growth, and leasing performance.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and managing client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of tenancy legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading and coaching distributed teams.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, leasing platforms, and revenue tools.

- ARLA qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience in Build‑to‑Rent, Co‑living, or property operator environments.
