We need someone with experience of finance process improvement, financial planning and leadership looking to have a position with broad responsibility for commercial finance, FP&A and finance process improvement. You will be based in the London area and your role will offer the chance to help scale an AI-powered consultancy that's redefining the industry. Role & Responsibilities
- Finance Leadership
- Working closely with the CFO, lead the finance team day-to-day, owning and delivering on finance priorities.
- Support in execution of M&A and corporate finance.
- Financial Control and Management
- Own and deliver all management reporting and board-level financial insights.
- Ensure financial systems, controls, and tools support scalable growth.
- Implement appropriate cost control policies and suggest new approaches to margin improvement.
- Financial Planning and Commercial Finance
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting across the business.
- Drive margin and profit improvement, with a hands‐on approach.
- Partner with operations and project teams to optimise pricing, efficiency and resourcing of our projects.
- Help build a culture of commercial accountability and data‐led decision‐making across the organisation.
About you
- Proven finance leadership experience in a management consultancy, consultancy-based marketing services, or other time-based professional services business.
- Demonstrated success in improving finance process efficiency and in a finance business partner, FP&A or commercial finance role.
- Track record of contributing at a senior level.
- Experience in M&A, fundraising, strategic planning and international operations is beneficial.
- Comfortable in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, and innovation-led setting.
- Strong technical grounding with ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts.
- Technically excellent, with sharp analytical and financial acumen.
- Collaborative, confident leader—able to engage and influence at all levels.
- Proactive, hands‐on, and able to get into the operational detail when needed.
- Enthusiastic about the potential of AI to transform marketing and finance.
