As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding the adoption of the Verve Marketplace SDK by identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with app developers, publishers, and technology partners. You'll own the partnership lifecycle from prospecting through launch and growth, helping drive SDK integrations that fuel long-term revenue and marketplace expansion.
What you'll do:
- Own and execute the full business development lifecycle, from identifying prospects to negotiating and closing new SDK integration partnerships.
- Build relationships with mobile app publishers, developers, mediation platforms, and technology partners to drive adoption of the Verve Marketplace SDK.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of Verve Marketplace's SDK and monetization solutions to technical and business stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Work closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure successful SDK integrations and partner launches.
- Act as the voice of the customer by translating partner feedback into actionable insights that help shape product strategy and roadmap.
- Stay current on Verve Marketplace's SDK capabilities, mobile monetization products, and the evolving in-app advertising ecosystem.
- Represent Verve Marketplace at industry conferences, partner meetings, and networking events to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams throughout the contracting process to ensure commercial agreements align with company objectives.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, and account information within CRM, ensuring reliable forecasting and reporting.
What You Bring:
- You're an experienced business development professional with a strong understanding of the mobile advertising ecosystem and a proven track record of driving SDK adoption and strategic partnerships.
- Mobile Ad Tech Experience (5–8 Years): 5–8 years of business development, partnerships, or sales experience within the mobile advertising or ad tech industry.
- SDK & Mobile Monetization Expertise: Strong understanding of mobile SDK integrations, in-app monetization, mediation platforms, programmatic advertising, and the mobile advertising technology stack.
- Industry Network: Established relationships with mobile app publishers, developers, mediation partners, DSPs, SSPs, and the broader mobile ad tech ecosystem.
- Technical & Commercial Acumen: Comfortable engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a business-focused manner.
- Revenue & Partnership Success: Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships, driving SDK adoption, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
- Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Presentation & Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for customer meetings, partner engagements, and industry events as needed.
