Verve Workspace is a leading office furniture and interior design company based in Milton Malsor, just outside Northampton. We've been around for 22 years. Our offices are a lovely place to work from (as you may expect) and provide a pleasant place to work from.
We design, furnish and fit out workplaces for businesses across the UK, and we're looking for a friendly, organised and resourceful Administrator to join our small team and help keep everything running smoothly.
Working with our operations team, you'll get involved in a bit of everything and become an important part of the day-to-day operations. Your typical day could include processing customer orders, arranging and scheduling deliveries, speaking with clients and suppliers, updating information on our website and helping the team with general administration.
You'll also inevitably become the person who knows where things are, what's happening and who needs chasing. In other words, someone who helps keep the wheels turning.
We're much more interested in finding the right person than somebody with a particular qualification or impressive-looking CV. Training will be given for anything more unique, like adding images etc to our websites.
You'll probably suit us if you're organised, comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Docs, confident speaking to customers, and able to get on with things without needing to be constantly supervised. As a small team of 10 in the office, we want people who can use their common sense and be resourceful. A sense of humour is also vital too.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who's friendly, dependable and happy being part of a small team. You should be mobile as our office isn't in the town centre, but a small village next to Hunsbury.
If you're naturally the sort of person who spots something that needs doing and simply gets it sorted, we'd particularly like to hear from you.
The role is 16-20 hours per week, ideally around 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
It's an office-based position at our offices in Milton Malsor, Northampton. The role is NOT suitable for home or remote working.
Salary is approximately Β£25,000-Β£30,000 per annum full-time equivalent, paid pro rata according to the agreed hours.
There may be some flexibility around the exact daily working hours for the right person, so it could work particularly well for someone looking for a role that fits around other commitments. We do however expect reliability and we want someone who is a great communicator.
Send us your CV along with a short note telling us a little about yourself and why you think the role might suit you.
