Application Support Analyst urgently required by a leading financial services firm in the City.

Core part of the role is resolving tickets tied to legacy applications - VB.NET, SQL, C#.

Key Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for legacy system issues—triaging, updating, and resolving support tickets
  • Investigate issues within legacy applications - VB.NET, SQL, and C#.
  • Execute SQL queries and data updates for fixes, adhering to ITIL-aligned incident and change protocols
  • Monitor system alerts and performance metrics
Key Skills - MUST HAVES
  • Proven experience in customer-facing technical support, with a service-first mindset.
  • General knowledge of software development principles
  • VB.NET, SQL, C#, SQL, SSIS/SSRS
  • Familiar with ITIL frameworks and comfortable navigating incident/change workflows.

Great chance for a long term contract opportunity, 6 month initial contract, City based, 2-3 days per week on site.
