We are looking for chefs to work on a flexible ad hoc basis for venues across the East Midlands area. The roles will require:
- To follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing and cooking all varieties of foods.
- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment.
- Prepare foods to be cooked, including washing, peeling, cutting and shredding.
- Maintain the food offering ensuring presentation meets operating standards.
- Maintain stock levels, receive delivery of supplies, ensure stored correctly, rotate and maintain.
- Ensure floors are swept and mopped or vacuumed, ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitised and stored correctly.
- Dispose of waste, including recycling, in the appropriate manner and if required to remove it to the designated location.
We are looking for a chef who has a solid background in hospitality and service sectors, with a proven track record of high-end delivery. One of our clients operates with East Midlands Airport, so to work with this client Photo ID and a clear DBS may be required. Due to the regional coverage, having a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
